Da ich für die
Entwicklung des Anti Plop Zusatzes "A77
Mute" die A77 offen hatte, und weil
ich noch ein Mustergerät der für die B77 und
PR99 entwickelten "Quartz Control" zur Verfügung
hatte, habe ich mal der Versuchung nachgegeben
und in meine A77 MKII von 1971 - die bei einer
Reparatur mal eine neuere Motor-Regelungsplatine mit dem
555 IC erhalten hatte,.die Quartz Control eingebaut.
Den RIFA Kondensator und das Pot zur
Geschwindigkeitseinstellung habe ich bei der Gelegenheit
auch gleich erneuert.
Ließ sich ohne große Verrenkungen erledigen. |

Here
is an experimental version of the
Quartz Control installed in the Revox A77
There
are two versions of the A77 Capstan Speed Control PCB
built in the A77:
The
first one - using a big coil
and
the later one - using the 555 integrated circuit in the
socket version
and
uA739 operational amplifier.
For installing the Quartz
Control , the A77 has to be equipped with the newer one
"Capstan Speed Control PCB " using the
NE 555 integrated circuit in the socket version and uA739
operational amplifier.

Der Erfolg - immer
gleiche Geschwindigkeit - egal ob Sommer oder Winter
- bei Tag und bei Nacht - beim ersten und beim
letzten Band des Tages.
Da der Einbau nicht
ganz einfach auszuführen ist , wird es diese Version nicht
als Angebot von Pievox geben.
Nur bei der Version der A77
mit ! Capstan Reglung mit 555 IC ! läßt
sich die QuartzControl
einbauen !!!
Verwendung der Quartz Control in A77 Dolby
In der A77 Dolby muß ein anderer Einbauplatz hinter
dem Volume Potentiometer gewählt werden.

are four wires to solder: Two on the PCB and two on the
555 package
shown
below.
The cable for connection has
a special length (produced on request)
for
installing the Quartzcontrol box inside the A77.
Prefered
mounting position for the Quartz
Control module is behind the volume
potentiometer.
